I Want To Book You! What Do I Do Now? TOP
The first thing you will need to do is fill out the Booking Enquiry Form, remembering to enter the code at the bottom of the page and click submit. I will contact you at the earliest convenience to confirm whether or not your wedding date is still available.
We will then arrange a free consultation, where I will record notes about your wedding dreams and details. A non-refundable holding deposit of £75 will need to be paid in order to keep your wedding date free for you. We will then make arrangements for your trial.
Do I Have To Have A Trial? TOP
Make-Up Trial:
If you are the bride "to be", most definitely Yes! A trial is carried out to access your skintone, type and condition among other considerations. I always carry out a trial at a time relating to the wedding day timings. Even if you have decided on a very natural make-up, it will be applied very differently to normal everyday make-up because it needs to last. You want your make-up to look great from the moment your first guest sets eyes on you, until you say goodbye to your last guest that night.
Hair Trial:
A hair trial is also essential. Most brides want their hair to look different to what it looks like every other day. You will see what can be achieved with style, accessories and length. At a trial with The Bridal Designer, you will also have the opportunity to try on different styles of headpiece, tiaras, combs and veils. This way you will get a complete picture of how you will look on the big day and see for yourself what looks good on you!
What Areas Do You Cover For Wedding Hair & Make-Up Services? TOP
I generally cover the Chester/North Wales areas. However, I do travel further. Extra charges will apply.
Do I Have To Purchase My Own Make-Up Products? TOP
No, not at all. I supply everything that you will need to look and feel your very best!
What Cosmetics Do You Use? TOP
As I am not affiliated to any particular brand, I am free to use whatever I consider to be the best for the job in hand. I only use products that I believe are the best . They have been tried and tested by me for quality and longevity. Some brands that I carry in my kit are, MAC, Estee Lauder, Smash Box, Shu Uemura, Benefit, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Dior, Channel, L'oreal and many more.
My Hair Is Not Very Long, But I REALLY Want To Wear It Up. TOP
The Bridal Designer has researched and sourced grade A quality 100% Remy hair & heat resistant acrylic hair extensions. I use clip in extensions on a regular basis when dealing with shorter hair. They are fabulous for helping to create beautiful upstyles. Clip in extensions can be used to lengthen your hair or to add extra volume.
Do I Need To Wash My Hair Before You Put It Up? TOP
Absolutely not. Your hair will need to be shampooed and lightly conditioned (if it needs conditioner at all) 24hrs before I begin working on it. Otherwise it will be too soft and difficult to hold it's shape. The same applies to bridesmaid's who will be wearing their hair up.
I want sparkle But Don't Think A Tiara Will Suit Me. What Can I Have Instead? TOP
It is a great idea to accentuate a hair style with a hair accessory that suits you, your dress and your theme for the day, if you have one. If you have a particular idea, then, we can work with you to make it possible!
At your trial, you will be able to try lots of different hair accessories to see what suits the style, and what feels comfortable for you. You may like a particular style or shape, which can be made in the correct colours and components to exactly match your dress. If needed jewellery can also be made to order and to match you dress and other accessories.
This service is available for other wedding guests, bridesmaids, attendants and mothers of the bride or groom.
